Video production is the path from an idea to a finished film. The steps change with budget and format, but the spine stays the same.

The usual stages

  • Concept, script, and treatment

What to prepare before a shoot

A useful brief names the audience, the single idea the film must carry, the channels, the runtime, and the date it has to land. References help. Fake certainty about price before the scope is known does not.
